Shakespeare’s Body Count

Ah, the tragedies. The stakes are higher: heads roll, poison flows, kingdoms hang in the balance. We have a vague sense that Shakespeare’s body count is due to unnatural circumstances, but we rarely consider it from a macro perspective.

So, does anyone die of natural causes in the tragedies?
